HOW IT PLAYS

FOUR MOVES. THAT'S THE WHOLE GAME.

No teams, no five phones, no waiting for the slow one to install anything.

  1. 01

    THE APP DEALS A QUESTION

The answer is always a number. How many bones in the human body? How many moons does Jupiter have?

  2. 02

    PASS THE PHONE

One player at a time takes the hot seat. Say your guess out loud or type it in, then hand it on.

  3. 03

    THE ANSWER SLAMS IN

Huge, with a one-line fact and a dry remark about how you all did.

  4. 04

    CLOSEST TAKES THE ROUND

Best score after 3, 5, 7 or 10 rounds takes the show — and the Hall of Fame remembers it.

The answer is 10, with a one-line fact. Grandpa said 10 and takes the point; the others are OFF BY 2, 2, 4 and 6.

THE HOUSE RULE

NOBODY IS EVER WRONG

There is no buzzer and no red X. Miss by fourteen and the screen says OFF BY 14 — that is a distance, not a verdict.

People who "are bad at trivia" keep playing, because a decent instinct beats a memorized fact. And the youngest kid can beat you: a six-year-old who reasons out loud will absolutely take a round off a grown adult. That is the part everyone remembers.

  • NO READING REQUIRED
  • NO WRONG ANSWERS

TURN THE SOUND ON

THE HOST NEVER MISSES A SHOW

A warm broadcast voice opens the curtain, reads the card, and lands a dry aside when somebody guesses two hundred.

Grandparents can play without squinting — George reads every question to the table, and one switch silences him the moment you have heard enough.

BEFORE YOU ASK

QUESTIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE

DO WE NEED WIFI?
No. All 458 questions ship inside the app and scoring happens on the device. A full show runs on a plane, in a cabin, or during a blackout. The one thing that needs a connection is custom topics.
HOW MANY CAN PLAY?
2–6 players on one shared iPhone or iPad. Nobody installs anything — the phone just goes around the table.
IS IT OKAY FOR KIDS?
There are no wrong answers, only distances — an eight-year-old and a grandparent play the same question. Every card carries an age rating so the table can keep it fair for the youngest player, and the announcer reads the question out loud for anyone who would rather not squint. Rated 4+ on the App Store.
WHAT DOES IT COST?
Nothing. The complete game is free, forever. The Family Pass ($4.99/mo or $39.99/yr) unlocks custom topics — type anything and the show writes a round about it. Strictly optional.
WHAT ABOUT OUR DATA?
The bundled game never touches the network. Spoken answers are recognised on the device by iOS speech recognition — no audio is uploaded. The one feature that uses the internet is custom topics: the topic you type and the youngest player's age go to our server, which uses OpenAI to write the questions. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking.
HOW LONG IS A SHOW?
Your call: 3, 5, 7 or 10 rounds. Five rounds with five players runs a little over twenty minutes — the lineup screen estimates it before the lights go up.

DINNER IS OVER. NOBODY HAS LEFT THE TABLE.
